Beware of Gimmicks! Check out the Wedding Transformation!

If there is something that pisses me off more than anything, it’s health and fitness gimmicks. The late night infomercials about the shake weigthts, the P90Xs, the Insanitys, the abdomen wraps, etc, etc, etc…. are all out to make a quick buck and ride off into the sunset. These gimmicks take advantage of human emotion and desires for a quick fix. We all know the truth about how to lose weight and body fat. We may not all know how to do it, but at the very basic level, we all know that being healthy includes eating healthy and exercising often. If we all know this why are there so many of us searching for the quick fix that we inherently know is doomed to fail?

I was asked by a friend of mine the other day about HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) shots and the 500 calorie diet and what my thoughts were on the issue. Anything that involves taking an injection and consuming 500 calories is absolutely absurd! How on earth is anyone willing to go to these measures to lose weight rather than just eat healthy and exercise? When I was in Puerto Vallarta, MX last winter I was asked by a woman what I thought about HGH (Human Growth Hormone) because all of her girlfriends use it. What kind of response do you think she got from me!?

So do me a favor and help put the gimmicks out of business! Listen to your brain and your common sense, and if you are still uncertain, ask me!

Wedding Transformation Finale

This was by far the most challening 2 weeks to date. I apologize for not posting an update last week, but I was driving across the country from Florida to Minnesota. So needless to say I was in the worst scenario imaginable for transforming my body. However, I managed to pack a cooler for the road trip, and when I did stop at a restaurant for a meal, I chose sensible options that aligned with my goal. When we stayed at a hotel, I made sure we stayed in a hotel with a workout facility. It’s these small decisions that end up having a huge impact in the end of the day when it comes to achieving your goals. So here is the final product of 7 weeks of The Get Shredded Diet and a smart nutritional supplement strategy with Advocare.
